Z Ocean Hotel is Your Launch Pad for the Next Cultural Excursion!

101263_1833_primaryWhile perhaps best known for its pristine beaches and vibrant nightlife, Miami Beach and its surrounding communities also have a rich and fast growing art scene. There are a wide variety of galleries, theaters, festivals, and other cultural attractions in close proximity to our boutique Miami Beach Hotel.

Some historic and acclaimed destinations nearby include Lincoln Road’s Colony Theatre, the celebrated Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater, and Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts (located in Downtown Miami just off the MacArthur Causeway).

Built in 2011, the New World Center is home to the New World Symphony, which is acclaimed for its orchestra concerts, chamber music, family concerts, and many free events. The adjacent Sound Scape Park is a masterful outdoor space known for its Wall Casts – free screening of concerns and movies on a 7,000-square-foot wall.

A short drive to Downtown Miami via the MacArthur Causeway will take you to the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, the second-largest performance center in the country. It features the world-class talents of the Miami City Ballet, the New World Symphony, Florida Grand Opera, and City Theatre; as well as numerous national and international groups, such as the Mark Morris Dance Group and the famed Cleveland Orchestra.

While on the mainland, you can venture south to Cutler Bay to visit one of the city’s newest arts venues, the $51-million South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center. Designed the renowned Arquitectonica International, it includes several performance venues, an outdoor plaza for festivals and art shows, and a spacious lawn for concerts.

These are just a handful of first-rate cultural venues that are accessible from the Z Ocean South Beach Hotel. Our chic boutique destination is a vacation all on its own, with sumptuous suites overlooking the ocean, and a vast array of five-star services and amenities that cater to your every need. There is no better place from which to enjoy the best that South Florida has to offer.

As a leading Miami Beach Hotel, Z Ocean is well aware of the many great things that this world-famous resort-city has to offer – gorgeous weather, pristine beaches, vibrant nightlife, and much more. That’s why over 14 million people visited last year alone.

But in addition to putting you in the heart of Miami Beach’s leading attractions, our boutique South Beach Hotel serves as a launch pad for enjoying the ultimate shopping experience. With retail sales topping $2.6 billion last year, Miami Beach is one of the world’s leading commercial hubs.

In fact, top retailers across the globe have taken notice of this trend as well, pouring into the city in droves and providing an ever-expanding selection for residents and visitors. The opportunities for a world-class shopping experience are endless and right around the corner.

All along Collins Avenue, where the Z Ocean Hotel is located, you can find a vast array of world-famous retailers, including Armani Exchange, Bebe, Barney’s Outlet Store, and Urban Outfitters, to name just a few.

Lincoln Road, located just two blocks away from our hotel, has recently seen the opening of several major brands, including John Varvatos, Zara, LUSH, Abdias, an expanded GAP building, and more. Some of the new arrivals, such as Ladurée and Sabon, are the first to open in South Florida.

Located just a short drive north is the luxurious Bal Harbour Shops, which ranks among the world’s highest-grossing mall. The 450,000-square foot Mecca of luxury retail is slated to add an addition 350,000 square feet of space, which will not include more luxury outlets, but an upscale movie theater, plaza, and green spaces.

West of Bal Harbour is Aventura, which hosts the nation’s third-largest mall by revenue, Aventura Mall. At 2.7 million square feet, it is by far the largest mall in Florida, offering over 300 establishments to choose from. The developer plans to add another 241,000 square feet, along with a seven-level parking garage that will improve access.

In short, Miami Beach and its surrounding areas offer an unmatched shopping experience – and the Z Ocean Hotel puts you conveniently at the heart of it all. To learn more, call 305-672-4554.
